Mrs Janabai 45 years female who loves cooking different types of recipes. One can find her all time in kitchen with different recipes. Mrs Janabai had complaint of headache from 2 months which subsided after taking some painkiller pills. Assuming her headache to be due to routine stress work, she always ignored her complaints.  But later only she started complaining of watering from her eyes and blurred vision.Mrs Janabai found very difficult in making the food, due to her blur vision. Once she enters in kitchen she use to land up in another problem by getting her fingers cut by knife, or minor burns. Mrs Janabai’s husband could not see the pain of her spouse and he suggested her to have an eye specialist opinion. On the day of appointment as they reached AEHI, Mrs Janabai went through few eye examinations, which showed her vision to be 6/18 in both her eyes. Before the operation few other eye tests were carried like Slit lamp examination and Retinal Examination. Slit lamp examination helps to know tiny abnormalities in  iris, cornea, lens. Retinal examination  helps to know the abnormalities in the retina. After the detailed explanation Mrs Janabai felt she is in right place and in the safe hands of Dr. Vandana Jain.  Thus Mrs Janabai decided to get her eyes operated, and her eye operation was scheduled.

On the day of operation some anesthetic drops were added in her eyes and then Dr. Vandana Jain operated on her eyes very calmly and in almost less than 30 minutes her Cataract was removed. She was asked to wait in the recovery room for half an hour and than sent home on the same day.

On the next day morning Mrs Janabai came for her follow up visits.  Dr. Vandana Jain examined her eyes and administered few eye drops for quick healing and preventing infection of eyes.

In her follow up visit after a week, Mrs Janabai was happy to see the world back with her clear vision. Not only was that she is back to her hobby of cooking her favourite recipes. And was very thankful to Dr. Vandana Jain for her politeness and professionalism.
