Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness worldwide after cataracts. It is a condition that causes damage to one’s optic nerve ( nerve in the eye) due to an increase in the intra-ocular Pressure (Pressure of the eye).

The treatment for Glaucoma isn’t daunting as it sounds. If caught well in time; medicines or eye drops taken regularly help reduce the intraocular pressure in the eyes. But if the pain is severe and the intra ocular pressure doesnt relieve, eye operation becomes necessary.
