Blessed with a clear Vision after Cataract Operated at AEHI, with other medical diseases


Mr Nitin Bhosale 55 year’s male  Retired from a Chemical Company Problem seemed never ending for him. Mr Nitin Bhosale is a known case of Diabetes and Hypertension since 15 Years with Chronic Kidney disease and on Dialysis since 18 months. A retired man was frustrated from his diseases as he has to visit hospital every now and then for his Dialysis, His problem started affecting his vision. He started complains of watering from his eyes, blurred vision which not only affected him but made him dependent on his family members.

Mr Nitin consulted eye specialists who checked his eyes and diagnosed this condition as Cataract in both eyes. But none of the doctors were ready to operate his eyes with his other chronic medical condition. He was on continuous dialysis and his BP was on higher side, for which none of the doctors were giving his Fitness for his eye operation done.

Mr Nitin Bhosale got very depressed with his condition, as he was not able to carry his daily routine work. . His vision was deteriorating, he could not see clearly from his eyes.  For every step he needed someone‘s help which was making him caged in his own house.

One of his Doctor who was taking care of his Kidney Disease advised him to visit Advanced Eye Hospital and Institute (AEHI), located at Sanpada, Navi Mumbai for his eye complaints.  Mr Nitin Bhosale visited AEHI, and got his eyes examined. On examination of his eyes he could see only up to a distance of ½ meter. He could not see anything beyond that. He was referred to Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Glaucoma and Cataract Surgeon. Dr. Rajesh Mishra checked his eyes and said that he is having cataract in his both eyes and his Right eye needs more attention than the left. Mr Nitin Bhosale was planned for his eye operation after getting his dialysis done and controlling his Blood pressure.


With all this complications Dr. Rajesh Mishra operated on right eye of Mr Nitin Bhosale. He was administered few eye drops for quick healing.

Mr Nitin Bhosale came for his follow up visit after a week; his eyes were examined in which the eyes were normal. He can see clearly from his right eye. Mr Nitin Bhosale is waiting to get his Left eye operation done.
